The "Fuji no Kuni Yamanashi 22nd Mt. Fuji Hill Climb" is one of Japan's largest hill climb races, held against the backdrop of the World Heritage site, Mt. Fuji. Starting from Fuji Hokuroku Park, the 24km course with an elevation difference of 1,255m, which passes through the Fuji Subaru Line and aims for the 5th station of Mt. Fuji, attracts many cyclists from all over the country.

At Expo 2026, held prior to the tournament, we will have test ride bikes available that will allow you to experience the brand's appeal, including MASI's lightest all-rounder model.

Mt. Fuji Hill Climb 2026 Event Overview

The "Fuji no Kuni Yamanashi 22nd Mt. Fuji Hill Climb" is one of Japan's largest hill climb races, held against the backdrop of the World Heritage site, Mt. Fuji.

The race starts at Fuji Hokuroku Park in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and follows a 24km course that goes via the Fuji Subaru Line to the 5th station of Mt. Fuji. With an elevation difference of 1,255m, it is one of Japan's premier hill climb events and is supported by many cyclists.

The 2026 tournament will be held on Sunday, June 7th, and is expected to attract approximately 8,500 participants from all over Japan.

Additionally, the largest cycle expo in Japan will be held the day before the competition, where you can experience the latest sports bikes and cycling-related products, and many brands and manufacturers will be exhibiting.
